BBQ Marinades & Sides, 5th June, 10am – 2pm, £84

If you are looking to be king or queen of the grill for 2020, this course is for you. Providing you with dishes which move your repertoire from bangers and burgers to a simple but impressive menu.

We will cook on both gas and charcoal barbecues, starting with the basics of how to light it safely and easily, direct and indirect cooking, lid down grilling and lots more barbecue basics which will up your game and allow you to cook not just this menu, but anything you fancy cooking alfresco this year.

Each of the cooks will create a Thai Style BBQ Chicken dish and Lamb chops with fresh herbs – both of which are packaged up to take home and enjoy. They will then move on to Garlic and fresh herb flat breads, Salsa verde potato salad and a Barbecued asparagus salad.

We will finish the session with a group cooking session preparing the following, all of which we will enjoy as a lunch together…

Steak kebabs with chilli & kaffir lime leaves

Salmon with ginger and sesame seeds

Chilli sweetcorn
